In the challenge between Debbie and Debbie's dad, 'Who Can Grow The Most Potatoes In One Bag 2011?', neglect seems to have had a predictable effect on Debbie's overall harvest. With the amount of soil in the rather large bag, we were hoping for at least ten kilos.
"did we achieve this unscientifically (AKA 'ssschhhmientifically') deduced expectation?"

ROLLING UPDATES ON THE WAY
As the idea of keeping simple records of anything, including that which is allotment and gardening related, generally, with me, there's a tendency to veer from 'simple' to, let's say, "involved"..
Further Playlists will include 'variety-specific' lists made available as they are created and will begin with varieties that are generally available in Great Britain which i aim to grow this season, including:
'CARA'
'DESIREE'
'ESTIMA'
'JAZZY'
'ROCKET'
'SWIFT'
plus:
followed by varieties that either spring to mind, i would like to try or that are recommended to try. Eventually, given enough time, i imagine a specific Playlist for every potato variety known to man, beast and God.
Well,.. that's it for this update.
