Howdy friends. With the time for 'direct-sowing-in-the-ground' almost upon me here in Mid-South-West England (zone 9b) due to the 'anticipated' 'last frost date' drawing rapidly nearer (30th April according to this useful map United Kingdom Average Last Frost Date Map (plantmaps.com), i feel it time to share some of the crops i'm hoping to grow this year. As a Plantivore, i'll kick-off with one main staple (and storeably stable) nutritious food for me, that being the Legume, a rich source of plant-protein and minerals with the added bonus that the simple-to-dry legumes are highly suitable and prized for long-term storage.
